On the 26th of March 2020, the Thai Prime Minister imposed a state of Emergency Decree regarding the Coronavirus outbreak in Thailand.

Tree Tops Elephant Reserve in Phuket made the difficult but necessary decision to temporarily close until further notice.

Along with myself, Tree Tops CEO, Mr Wallop P. Luengdhama, and Operations Director, Russell Withers, we opened Tree Tops in October 2019. As Project Director, I oversee the care and welfare of our seven gorgeous elephants - Fah Sai, Nam Gaew, Nam Sook, Lam Poon, Tong Tip, Boon Song and Nam Phet, whom all live a beautiful, peaceful life on the reserve.

We managed to survive through 2020 but it's very worrying as we head into 2021 with no clean sign when tourism will return to Thailand.

To help with funding, EARS Asia is receiving donations to directly support the purchase of pineapple grass, bananas and watermelon treats, supplementary food for our 70 year old elephant Nam Sook, and any vet care that the elephants may need.

Thank you in advance from the bottom of my heart for being so kind to help our elephants at this very difficult time.

My thoughts are with you all.

Stay healthy and safe,
